But you need to clear Bekarna's Observatory to get the full experience from the DLC, and the Observatory is on the opposit side of the world. Forgotten Sanctum is more tricky though - you can access it relatively early and one of Sanza's quests leads you there. SSS is relatively close to Hasongo, so you can visit it after dealing with Hasongo. Beast of Winter DLC is very close to the Splintered Reef, so it makes sense to go there on your way to the Reef. SSS seriously breaks the flow of the game. And then do a second playthrough where you can indulge all those Berath Blessings (such as disclosed sea-map) and do all those challenges like head-hunting, SSS, megabosses and such without any time pressure.

In my personal opinion, the best first-time experience for a devoted cRPG fan would come from having the first game with Trial of Eothas (and maybe Woedica) to get more of an emergency feeling and do WB and FS after completing "He waits in Fire".
